There are doctors who come here from other countries with fake diplomas, with no more in their medical supplies than a band-aid and a chicken foot. They are allowed to work here until they kill someone, then they just hop on a plane.

There is more at stake than pride.]]> We have those diploma mills here in the US too. Once it is proven that a few people bought diplomas, everyone who ever attended that university is discredited. Then the diplomas are not worth the paper they were written on.
